View Parking Information

Event Parking – Fort George

There will also be a free Event Parking zone at Fort George, operational from 14th-22nd July.
Please note that the Event Parking Zone at Fort George will be locked at 10.30pm each night with the exception of Friday 20th July when it will close at the later time of 12.30am and
Sunday 22nd July when it will close at 6.30pm

Free Park and Ride sponsored by Translink

Avoid the traffic by using one of three FREE park and ride services provided by Translink.  Park and Ride Services will pick up operate with 30 mins frequency from 12.30pm on 14th, 15th, 20th, 21st & 22nd July

Park and Ride Pick-Up Locations:

-     St Columb’s College, 23 Buncrana Rd, Derry~Londonderry,  BT48 8NH

Park and Ride Drop-off Location:
Sainsbury’s Bus Stop, Strand Road, Derry~Londonderry

Disabled Parking Facilities

There are Disabled Parking Facilities available at the Strand Road Car Park, BT48 7AL,  (Please note, places are allocated on a first come first served basis)

Tips for Your Journey

If you are driving to the event, or are being dropped off, then you are also asked to note the following information:

  • For safety reasons, it will be necessary to introduce traffic management and parking restrictions at various times during the event. For more detail keep an eye on the website, social media channels or tune into BBC Radio Foyle (93.1FM), Downtown Radio or Q102.9FM for latest updates.
  • Drivers are reminded that normal on street parking restrictions will be in place and that they should avoid parking anywhere where they may be blocking entrances to residences or businesses or were they may be obstructing emergency access.
